Axle is off center by about 1/4 to 1/8 of an inch? Not worth messing with?

Also I was wondering this about the HVAC system. Obviously we all know that the WJ's have ATZ and Manual Climate. But, what I was wondering if it'd be possible just to swap the auto climate knows into my jeep and nothing else. However I was told that that the blend doors are electric and the manual doors are vacuum controlled. So I'm guessing it wouldn't work...

That sucks :( ^ Any updates?

So I took another highway trip and I am still getting some vibes, but these are different then before. I can feel these vibes all through the Jeep and the steering wheel. It is not moving the steering wheel left and right like DW or shimmy would. But the entire steering wheel vibrates up and down. When I let go you can see it move, when I have my hands on it does not appear to move/vibrate but can still feel it. It is a constant vibe from like 55+ mph on. To me that sounds like a wheel out of balance still or my d.s. going to blow? Again, this is NOT a left/right shimmy. Whatever is going on is causing vibes throughout the Jeep and making the steering wheel move up and down. Its not life and death, just obnoxious and I am trying to figure out what is causing it.

If it is a wheel that is off balance, STILL, that is going to piss me off. I just had them balanced, or they are "supposedly" balanced. *shakes head in disappointment* I am also going to try and pull off my front drive shaft FIRST and see what happens. Then if that does not do it, I will go get the tires "road-force" balanced.

Update is a new pitman arm is being overnighted to me and I'm just going to turn the core in with the old one on it

That makes life easier haha. So you couldnt get the pitman arm off to save you're life? Haha

Took a shot of my front d.s. angle. Boot seems to be okay. No grease splatter.

I sure couldn't, the impact gun wouldn't budge it

I chopped this off years ago and have never had an issue..:tea:
Oh no kidding? Did you also do the air box mod?

The lower control arm bushings not wide enough for the WJ LCA mount?
misalignment bushings,, and also IRO uses the same adjustable control arm for front/rear. normal stock use is fine but what I just found out is that when you move your rear axle back 2-3+ inches they are adjusted to far out (even tho they say they have 6+ inches of adjustment). If I would do it again (and I might anyway) I would go with IRONMan adj lowers with the bend and tell him to make then a few inches longer. and IRO adjustable rear -arm..

I can post a few pics if you want.

Edit:
No I did not do the other mod as you did.... but i might just do it now

4.5in up front/5.5in in rear on short arms

Adjusted to rear stock length

Adjusted all the way out

The reason I am moving the axle back so far is for my 37's

I'd like to see the pictures of the IRO arms. I'm only at 3 inches of lift so the axle wouldn't have to be pushed all that far. Control arms are probably in the fairly distant future. But that'd be another vote for the iron man control arms. Posting pictures is always good.

The air box mod was easy and probably helps haha. I'm not sure if ill cut that tube part out.

Yeah you got a lot of lift and had to push the axle wayyyy back. I guess that's why the started to max out. Thank you for the pictures man.

Okay guys, another Jeep buddy needs some help.

Specs/Details:
-1994 YJ
-2.5 Liter 4 Cyl
-Was running fine last year (about 10 months ago)
-Did not run for that entire time
-Jump started it and then started up with out much issue.
-Will rev up with out an issue, BUT the issue is ---> under load it will fall on its face and stall out.

-Has fresh gas
-He had put Iridium spark plugs in it. (I had told him that copper plugs would be best, though)

I have told him to check:
-Fuel Filter
-Fuel Pressure
-Run some cleaner through it.

Anything else you guys can think of or suggest?

Here is the front drive shaft. Those pieces fell off immediately when I took the straps off the front. No beating or hammering at it. Just unbolted and it fell. The rzeppa joint is basically maxed out. When it is on a lift and the axle droops, it goes into ultra death mode. I will have the front drive shaft out for while so more pics can be taken if needed. I have class and then I will do some highway speed test driving later this afternoon.

I would take that over to the YJ thread. We could guess all we want but really those guys would be able to help faster. I would definetly check the fuel pressure.
