Didn't see any reviews, or anything on a search... anyone have these? How do they perform? I was thinking of getting 2 sets, 1 driving, 1 fog, for a hood mounted light bar... thoughts on the lights?

You don't put fogs on the hood. Fogs are bumper only. Glare would blind you otherwise and they simply wouldn't do anything on the hood/windshield. Fogs belong actually as low as you can safely put them. Their pattern is going to be short, wide and low. Driving lights are fine up high as their pattern is narrow, long and more focused.

There is actually a review section of this forum, and you don't have to be an *** to the mod who is trying to help you out. If you are looking for technical info about the lights, ask for them, if you want reviews, go to the review section: JeepForum.com Reviews

The FF50's are there, which is great because I was looking at the FF50's too, but the FF75s are not. I can read all the technical info on Hella's sight, and already have, as well as did a search on JF, and checked the reviews section here, and looked on several other sites. Just because you've gotten into the habit of telling people to search, doesn't mean EVERYONE doesn't search first. All I asked for was a real world experience from one of our own. Perhaps a picture or two at night, to help me decide if it is going to full fill its intended purpose.

Since you are looking to use the fogs in a way other than it was designed and sold for I don't see reviews helping you much. Any reviews would be written from using the fog as intended. Sounds like you want to use it as a close up flood light. As long as you accept that the beam won't be very tall it might serve your purpose.

x2 on needing reviews..

Not trying to hijack the thread or anything, but i've been having a hard time deciding what lights to use on my light bar. When I bought the bar last year, I was wanting to go low profile on lights. The Hella FF75 FOG lights seems to be the lights suggested/provided for the tomb raider light bar. Why do they suggest fogs? Seems like the glare would be really bad mounted up there?
I've been thinking about getting some Daylighters instead...seems alot more logical. But it's not low profile..

I never said you didn't search, and now that we know what you are looking for more specifically, I think people can help better. I can't really comment on them since I only had the Hella 500's on my last Jeep. The Driving beam version were pretty good with a long skinny beam. It would work pretty well for the hood mounted light bar.
