I bought my Jeep used, it's an 04 and only had 43K miles on it, however after just 3 months, found out the ProComp shocks on the front were bad. I was told by the mechanic they would intall gas shocks for a much smoother ride, so they did with KYB Gas-A-Just shocks. I've never heard of these. I've noticed a huge difference already and love them but would like to see what other people thought of these type of shocks. Any other opinions?

I have just recently replaced mine all the way around with KYB's. They were a cheaper replacement set for now till the surgery's start on the Jeep this fall. Got to say I love em. Very nice ride, the jeep see's plenty of trail time and they work good all the through the travel ranges. So for $150 all the way around(self installed), not a bad deal. Good luck. Rocky

x2...i just checked the KYB website and it doesn't look like they sell Gas-A-Just shocks for 4" of lift....only OEM replacement size.

to the OP, check the PN's on those shocks...see what they installed. all i see on the KYB catalog is KG54323 front shocks, which are OEM replacement size. with 4" of lift you need 15.5" compressed length 10" travel shocks, and 2" of front bumpstop extension.
