Went with a new set of Toyo M/T's. 35x13.50x15. I have about 40,000 miles on my 33 inch Toyo's and really like the performance of them so there was no question that I wanted another set. Can't wait to get them dirty!!!
I drive this "miserable" thing every day. It gets around town great. On the freeway it cruises 75 mph without a problem. I even tow a 19 foot Bayliner with it. It's actually a great compromise for on and off road performance.WXman said:Observations:
1.) Those have 40,000 miles on them? They still look like they've got 30,000 to go. That is EXCELLENT tread life, especially for a MT tire. The only tire I've personally seen that did better than yours are my buddy's BFG KMs which he put 80,000 miles on before one of them finally went down.
2.) 35" Toyos (some of the heaviest MTs on the market) on a 4.0L engine with 4.11 gears has to be miserable to drive. What's the 0-60 time? A couple of minutes?![]()
Unless all the parts are falling off your Jeep because your 14oz left front tire which is kinda round and your 10oz right rear tire which is more round than your front tire shake so badly that you can't really go above 65. Eventually the 120 HP barn will catch you. And pass you  If you're going far enough. :cheers:But for the record...how much weight it takes to balance means nothing. .
Didn't sipe them yet. I will before winter.Burlbook48 said:Brett, did you get the new ones siped like the old set?
Glad to see a few more Toyo fans.
