Good looking YJ man. I have already built mine but I don't have any pics of it so I don't see a point in doing a thread. But I bought it close to where I live in VA for $3000 and lifted it 4" with a Rough Country Lift, and new wheels and 33x12.5x15 Kumho Road Venture M/T tires. then I wated about a year then I put Smittybult bumpers front and rear, windshield light mount brackets and KC apollo series lights on it and a new top. Once I get a decent picture of it I'll post it so you can see my finished product I just have a few small spots of rust to take care of then it will be completely finished.

Good looking build man! Reminds me a lot of my YJ... We have an oddly similar build, although I traded my ZJ for my YJ haha. It sucks having to deal with all that rust repair, I've been fortunate that the only thing I have to do is my floor pans. I run 3" Skyjacker Leafs and 33x10.5x15 KM2's, and plan on going a different route soon. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f22/b...-slow-1284516/

So today I decided to change my transmission fluid. A lot of people said the trans shifts awesome when you switch to 10W30 so i though id give it a try and honestly I didn't notice a difference. Maybe I have to let it work its self into the gears?

Nice YJ. What brand shackles did you use? I must have missed it in the thread.

Well, the next month or two will be kind of slow on the yj. Ive got to save up for some stuff not jeep related, so everything I do will rust related and some bed lined body parts. I might even be able to get the entire tub lined but first im going to order new corners because the one corner is rusted out and the other is damaged. By replacing the corners it will be much easier for me to rebuild the body mount brackets connected to the body. As you can see I'm running without my back two body mounts, but hopefully not too much longer.
here are the rusted out body mounts and the damaged corners. Im still debating on the drivers side although it would be much easier to build those mounting brackets, but well see.

Here are the corners on quadratec.com, pretty good price I think. After I repair the corners I'm definitively going to invest in some corner guards! Im not sure if quadratec's are thick enough though, 1/8inch. What do you guys think?

Well guys not to many updates, a little short on cash because im sending the lady down to arizona to visit her family. WISH I COULD GO!!! but someone has to stay and work. I fixed the brake issue, my rear drivers side brake line was rusted and finally failed so I replaced it with a copper line.LOVE that stuff!
Heres a picture of the lady yesterday before I took her out for her birthday.
