I'm new to Jeep ownership. I just picked up a 99 WJ, she has a few issues however, for the most part, she's solid for her age. I'm want to fix her up on the cheap beginning with wheels & tires. Is there a cross compatability chart for jeep models? I have the opportunity to pick up a full set of wheels and tires off a Gladiator with less than 100 mi on them for $400.00, just need to know if they will fit.

Lug pattern is 5x5 and very common.

The biggest issue will be finding something that'll fit. If you've got a lift that'll help.

I have a 4" lift. Therefore, I was able to make a set of base model JL takeoffs work just fine (paid $425 for a set of 5). We sold the original tires for $350 and bought another set of slightly wider tires BFG AT TA's for $450. If I didn't have a lift there would have some issues with even the base model rims/tires.

Good luck.

There is a lift chart sticky on this forum.

I know no one swapped them for a fact. I'm the 3rd owner, & it still had factory shocks when I got it it.

I'm going to bet that nobody here can tell you 100% without a doubt that they will work. It depends on the vehicle, what maintenance has been done, have the isolators been replaced, does the truck have Upcountry springs or not, etc.

If you're at stock height (really with either set of springs) I'm going to seriously doubt you can get it to work being it's almost a 32" tire.

If it were me and I really wanted them I'd figure I'm going to need to lift it to make them work or plan on buying different tires.

Please go 3.. you won't regret it.

Contact Kolak. He'll set you up right.

This, too. When I got my WJ, it still had the original shocks. I put some Monroe on it, then I found this kit for $50 more than what I paid for the Monroe. Only reason I posted it for you. @Kolak is the best way to go if you want to do it right.
