Noticed that my transmission doesn't have the bolts for the transmission mount that connects to the skid plate.

Link here for better reference.
Found this in a YouTube video these are the bolts I need the dimensions to so I can pickup some similar ones at an auto/hardware store. (I have the 2.5l 1995 YJ, don't know if that makes a difference to the dimensions)

I don't know why these were gone, could there be a reason? Does it matter? I think very well if they're included from factory they'd have some significance. Thoughts?

The transmission is an Aisin Warner AX15 ?
The bolts that go into the transmixer bottom are metric. 14mm-1.0 maybe? I can’t remember atm

Go to tractor supply and buy a selection of 12,13,14mm and figure out what fits. A 1/2-13 or 7/16”-14 sae thread “fits” but not properly and they will strip out.

Anyways, the bolts are not proprietary but they are metric.

To answer the second part of your question;

Yes, you need those bolts. As Fish said, they are likely metric, as it's a Japanese transmission. (Fish, doesn't the 4 cylinder come with the AX-5 and not the AX-15?)

EDIT: Whoops, Fish and I were wrong. Correct size is 7/16x14x1-1/8, which is a funny size, but a 1-1/4 would work if you grind it down a bit.
