Does anyone have the Vacuum Diqagram for a 4 cyl 2.5L ? I found an open connection at the Throttle body and i need to know where it goes to. Thanks.
don't get a new IAC. Chances are, it's your intake/exhaust manifold gasket. A gasket only costs 20 bucks. My 4.0 had the same symptoms when the gasket was bad. A whistling noise when not stepping on the gas, high idles....I recieved that code and recently the rpm's at startup do just fine.
when I stop the rpm's jump up then normalize, also during the drive I hear a slightly higher sound, not as deep and low in the gears...almost airy when approaching to rpm's to switch n engage the next gear. maybe my imagination..
also, the code mentions a vacuum leak, IAC...and one other thing but I don't even know how to tell the difference in the hoses, and even how to tell what is what and where to follow them, where they go...basically all about the vacuum leak, I'm lost....
what is it, where are they, how do I tell, and how do I fix such?
I'm itching to just replace the IAC and pray it works... I'm in such a bind, waiting for my mechanic to free up, school and work is going to start soon, and I'm really anxious to fix the problem.
