Just a heads up for you guys. Teraflex has discontinued their 4" WJ coils and are clearing out the remainders for $35, regular $119. One heck of a deal.

IRO has their control arms on sale right now. You can get all four fronts for $319. Just sayin. :D

I heard Teraflex is blowing out their entire kit really cheap including the long arm kit (maybe)? Anyone interested can talk with Kolak, he was the one that told me but unfortunately I had already purchased the kit but I am pretty sure you can get the entire kit at blowout prices.

For me it was bad because I drove ~30 miles a day to work 5 days a week over the summer. There was one road that even with LA's is still a very harsh ride and is riddled with potholes. I'm sure some nice shocks would have helped but the LA's are like night and day and worth every penny.

TJ guys are finally starting to realize that long arms are not all that.

The loss in ground clearance is their biggest downfall.

On a longer wheel base vehicle like a WJ, its even more of a problem.

You do not need long arms in order to have a nice ride at 4" of suspension lift.

Short arms don't cause it, but long arms allow components to last longer and become more resistant to DW. The improved angles are allowing my bushings to last 4 times as long as they did on short arms. Ride is smoother.

So far the LCA's haven't held me up on any rocks, sure I hit them but they just slide over them. I am sure I'll eventually find myself in a situation that they'll hang me up, but until then it is my belly that gets me stuck.

~ ~ reason i havent bought any Control arms yet is because i read 4" on Short arms are horrible then i read 4" on short arms no problems

then i read WORST IDEA EVER IS TO LIFT ON SHORT ARMS

then long arms every allways balls deep in these.

Im going to be using tera flex 4" springs RE Monotubes. on short arms Now since i cant afford long arms atm cause IRO doesnt have layaway haha.

which would be better to get first lower adjustables or upper adjustable's or see how it rides on Short Arms?

Woops, sometimes I forget where I'm posting.

You guys are right - no "uppers" on a WJ but rather an A-arm.

My WJ does still have the stock a-arm setup. I do not have a custom 4-link setup in the WJ.

The info listed in my profile is for my TJ which does have a 4-link rear.

300 bucks for four 4" springs is still awesome though. But yeah, ordering from the US adds A LOT of cost.

BTW, this is LocoCoco from JeepKings. Thanks for the Teraflex tip, I had to pass on the good info. :) And yeah, I spend a lot of time on this site too...

so anyone else rockin 4" on short arms... and there is a huge difference between stock arms and short adjustables i am sure... with just trackbar shocks and springs... chances of DW are there, but depending on condition of components, lets say good.... how would it be ? I am more worried about wheel position in the wheel well and driveline angles than anything really. will the stock driveshafts hold up to that ? or would it be better to go with 3" of lift....

i paid less than 190 for mines :D lol shipping was like 35bucks.

They ARE GREEN so paint them if you want.

Well i will have pictures of the installed in the next few days, but i threw them on tonight. The ride is great, and I got another 1/2" over my old set up.

I paid $170.00 shipped to my door. Thanks for the heads up on these.

BTW my OME HD springs are for sale now. PM me.
