Has anyone ever heard of using Dupli-Color brand spray-on truck liner that comes in 12-ounce spray can to redo your front grill? It is suppose to be tough and look pretty good. If anyone has done it could you send a picture of what it looks like. Thanks.

Never done it on a jeep, but I used dupli-color on my old chevy blazer. When i sold it two years later it still looked good. I say go for it

[start rant] Dude, grow up! [/end rant]

I've seen it done and plan on doing the same when the weather warms up to cover up a couple of nasty dings in my grill.

I have used the Dupli-color brand spray in a can on my old truck bed. I didnt like it because it faded from black to med gray in about 3 months, but it works good for a under coating in the fender wells. Of corse thats been about 4 years ago. :D

I have a black TJ how do you think it would look with the Herculiner??
if you did it to the grill, I would consider doing it to the fender flares too. That way you have a matching theme around the jeep. plus it would make cleaning up a breeze. I have my whole underbody coated in the sprayon bedliner stuff and mud just washes off.

I like the look of the grill on the white TJ (pic above). Of course that TJ is bad *** anyways

I know same here

I have 2 cans of Krylon fusion paint ready to go onto the flares, but I keep toying with the idea of going with the duplicolor spray on bedliner

that and the flares are a pita to take off

I wonder how long it will be before someone just Herculine's the whole Jeep. I honestly do not think it would look bad at all if someone did it that way!!!

What I'm wondering. Does this stuff come in a spray paint kind of can that you can do yourself, or does it have to be done professionally? actually, isn't it a roll on stuff, can you do it yourself?

Also, I have been debating about changing the color of my dash (from grey to black) to better go with my yellow Jeep. I hate the stock color. Been toying with the Krylon Fusion idea, but how bad or good do you think a Herculiner interior look?

I think the hurculiner website has a pic of a jeep that is entirely herculined.
