Effective February 1, 2023 Savvy Off-road closed their doors, this was no surprise as it had been long known that Gerald was looking for a buyer. The product line designs have been sold the "Savvy Designz" a new company independent of the old Savvy Off-road. Gerald Lee, the prior owner of Savvy Offroad is a board member of the new Savvy Designz. It appears that once the old Savvy inventory of TJ parts is liquidated by the new company, Savvy Designz, will likely no longer support the TJ market.

While I do not know the the details of the sale, it is curious that the new owner didn't simply buy the old Savvy company but instead choose to only buy the product designs. This would indicate the the old Savvy company had liabilities associated with the Savvy name the buyer would not assume.

Sorry to see Savvy go, Savvy had leading edge products and will be missed.

That is unfortunate. Savvy was the only one who was really still innovating with the TJ platform.

EDIT: Its too bad RockJock didn't pick up the savvy stuff. I always thought they had a close relationship.
