My rear differential, and also some other parts of the under carriage, are starting to rust :( It's not bad, just on the edges, but I want to stop it or paint it or something. A few years ago i spray painted my old jeeps rear diff with black heat paint, made it look good, but I'm not sure it was the right thing to do. I just want to do the proper thing with this jeep. Also, the mufflerf is starting to develop rust too, Is there anything I can do to keep my under carriage clean and rust free? Thanks in advance.

I use it on the mid to rear exhaust sections and you have to apply it when cold ;)

Just be careful not to get it on the rotors. I cover mine when applying.

I have looked at other WK / WH underbody's and its always the two sub frame supports that run to the back of the rear bumper and the axle that look really bad if left untreated. Mine are still factory black. Even if you have rust the rust inhibitor in the corrosion guard works wonders.......

Once applied leave it for around 30 minutes to dry and thats it. You can even spray exposed electrical cables and it will protect them too.

Its designed to work in a salt environment so its A1.....

Quicksilver Corrosion Guard. You can get it from any good marine shop. It works wonders on my boat engine and leg and does the same to the underbody Jeep parts too. I swear by it. Jet wash the under body and then just spray the corrosion guard. Make sure you wear a basic mask and goggles.

It will last for about 2-3 months and one can will do around 3 applications.

My Jeep is a 2006 and the underbody looks like new.

Simple, cheap, quick to apply and it works. Try It. Its the best $ 20 you'll spend.
