only time will remove it from skin. my hands were black for a while afterwards

Xylene ("Xylol") or MEK will probably remove it.

Leave it on, it will keep you from rusting! :thumbsup:

 

cover your hands with olive oil and wear some rubber gloves for 24 hrs
every 4 hours hold your hands over a boiling tea kettle so your hands sweat
don't burn your skin off

The only thing that I found would remove it from my skin was if I removed my skin as well. Good luck removing that stuff.

 

por 15 has a product that removes it quite well . buy this at same time and all is good .

 

You're talking about the solvent but that only removes it if it's fresh/still wet

Steam showers helps takes it off as you sweat but it's only the natural oils in your skin that eventually loosens it and allows you to scrub it off

POR-15 tatoo lasts about 2 weeks. I still have scars from rubbing my arms raw to get that stuff off!

 

Hey this thread is a little old sorry but just in case people come across it looking for info all chemicals / products are required by law to have what is called a MSDS, which has a bunch of info on it for whats in it and how to handle it. You can basically google any product and msds and pull it up. here is the one for por15

I work for a mining/materials company and we use these at work and typically you want to read them BEFORE you use the product to get a good idea of how it behaves. Anyway just putting it out there I'm sure it is long gone off your skin by now...

 

yeah, i washed the affected area thoroughly and ended up with very clean painted hands . get the cleaner they supply .
