so i'm not the neatest painter and managed to get POR15 on my hands, face, arms and legs.

List of things that i know do NOT remove POR15 from skin
  • Gas
  • Paint Thinner
  • Acetone
  • wd40
  • mineral spirits
  • break cleaner
  • hair spray
  • goo gone
  • grama secret spot remover
  • lava soap
  • naptha / white gas
  • denatured alcohol
  • bleach
  • Fells Naptha bar soap
  • mess master
  • dish soap
  • Soft Scrub

List of things that actually work to remove POR15
  • bic - only works on face/arms though
  • SOS Pads - works great

List of things that make your skin feel better after trying all this shizzo
  • Cold water
  • Aloe
  • Rum - taken internally
  • More Rum
  • Some coke so you don't get dehydrated

Yea i really did try all this and yes I'm sorry i ever laughed at hutus thread back in the day. Stupid Karma

Hey this thread is a little old sorry but just in case people come across it looking for info all chemicals / products are required by law to have what is called a MSDS, which has a bunch of info on it for whats in it and how to handle it. You can basically google any product and msds and pull it up. here is the one for por15

And the part relevant:
"SKIN CONTACT: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash aff ected areas thoroughly with soap and water. Wash contaminated clothing thoroughly before re-us"

...not all that useful though sorry.

I work for a mining/materials company and we use these at work and typically you want to read them BEFORE you use the product to get a good idea of how it behaves. Anyway just putting it out there I'm sure it is long gone off your skin by now...
