2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4.7
I bought this with worn out Goodyear Fortera tires which had several plugs in the back (one of my annoyances i wont tolerate a tire that puncture easily especially brand name tires).
I got a deal on set of Yokohama Geolander 55 SUV Model (245/65/17) but were a higher load tire at 107 rating vs stock recommendation of 105 not knowing that was a bad thing to increase load. I have poorer braking and acceleration if thats even possible probably cause of new thread vs. balding worn Fortera's before.
Should I bite the bullet and get rid of this Yokohama's with the higher weight rating as everything i read says never go above or below manufacture's recommendations.. I was thinking of going with Goodyear Wranger SRA's.. yes more than double expense and mounting costs again..
Your thoughts?
