Think there MIGHT be a liability aspect with this product?SirGCal said:Useless for anything but a trail only rig... And then just drop your windshield anyhow...
(From the site... ) For Off Road use only.
.... That was good. But your right.. They are smoking the @#$% again if they think I'd pay them $1k for a non-street-legal version of something I can already do with just removing a few bolts.geauxturbo said:Hmmmm......$1K so you can seeFolks, its glass, you can already see through it.
Spend 1K on a cage and fold the flippin' windshield down if YOU HAVE TO CATCH CRAP IN YOUR FACE.
IMHO.
Lights depend completely on the area you live in. In Texas for example, I can run mine but they are lower power than most (55W) and under the max height requirements (If I remember right, 54.5"). In some states, you can't even have un-shielded lights on your vehicle (I.E. they must have a solid cover on them when on the street) some other states let you run what ever you want. It's a local rule on additional aftermarket lights.ProfessorCRX said:Most lights you get say for offroad use only... But you're still allowed to have them on the street right?
LIKE CALIFORNIA.... Man, we have some of the dumbest laws and regulations around :rtft:SirGCal said:In some states, you can't even have un-shielded lights on your vehicle (I.E. they must have a solid cover on them when on the street).
