Isit illegal in Colorado to drive your Jeep on the road or freeway with the doors off? That is one thing I really want to do when I get my Jeep is drive around town or to my Dads house in Denver with the doors off and top down.

Don't know if it is legal or not, but I haven't had my doors on for about 2 months and I haven't had a problem.

I've not had any problems running topless and/or doorless in my TJ for the last 3.5 years. I drive by cops everyday on my way to work, which is 100% highway. As far as I have read the law, as long as you have 1 rearward facing mirror, you're A-OK in Colorado.

My soon to be brother in law is a police officer in Estes, he said that as long as youre not hanging out of your jeep, i.e. feet on fender flares, then you probably wont be hassled be any cops. Its not illegal, but alot of cops will pull you over if youre hanging out.

If it's not illegal why would they pull you over?
