I need help Im Pulling the code P1757 (Transmission code) "Governor pressure is above 3 PSI when 0 is requested"

I went to the STEALERSHIP and its $95 just to check it out, and I really dont want to spend that much for a fat mechanic to look at it for 2 seconds. How much does it cost to get fixed? Or any Things i can do? THANKS

I would strongly suggest going to the dealer. Then they will ask you for the VIN number of the Jeep. You will be handed two parts that are made exactly for your vehicle. Some parts get several revisions over the years. I would not trust an auto parts store in this case.

It does not look hard to change. You must remove about 16 or so stinkin bolts to drop the tranny pan (replace this filter and a new pan gasket) and then remove the two parts from the tranny.

The 3 bolts that hold the filter on are Torx bolts. I do not remember what size. I might have written it down at home?
