Heat/AC Blower Motor - should it spin clockwise?

Folks:

Trying to help a neighbor solve a low to almost no flow of air in their system. I replaced both blend doors and confirmed the re circulation door works fine. Pulled the motor and ran it to watch it turn. It spins clockwise, if you are looking down on the actual fan (i.e. looking at the gray part and not the back of the motor). That means air is pulled into the middle of the fan and thrown out sideways. I believe that is correct but need some folks to confirm.

I now get error codes 20 and 35, but that's better than the 4 codes I got before I replaced the blend doors.

Again, issue is extremely low flow. I now have heat with the blend doors working but it is an amazingly low flow. No, there is no after-market in-cabin filter installed.

Thanks for your thoughts.

On a squirrel cage blower wheel the air is pulled into the center and pushed out the side. The cupped pieces of the wheel always cup in the direction the air is going to move, if the motor is going in the correct rotation.. By that I mean if they cup from inside to the left the discharge air goes left if the motor is running CCW when looking at the shaft end, and if from the center they cup to the right, then the discharge air goes to the right if the motor is running CW when looking at the shaft end. This is referenced by looking at the squirrel cage from the inlet side towards the motor.
