Anyone ever use Denny's driveshaft here? I have known a few people that have used them on drag cars over the years and have been happy with them but never any 4x4 stuff. They claim to be able to balance the shaft up to 10,000 rpm and eliminate any vibrations that may come up. Most places are balancing at around 1000-2000 rpm.

I looked at them also. I have a Tom Woods in the front right now. Actually it's the second Tom Woods. The first one had bad vibes, they sent me a second that they balanced closer and it has 90% of the vibes gone.

I was looking into the Denny's because if the ability they have to balance them at the actual rpm they are running on the highway.

I have bought a kit from them to rebuild my front driveshaft. I had a needle bearing break on the centering joint and their customer service was excellent.

I would definitely use them again.

I am leaning toward Denny's because they spin them to the rpm that you are running them at when on the expressway. Most places only spin them at 1000-2000 rpm at best.

I get it that if it is balanced perfectly at the low rpm it will be perfect at the higher rpm. That doesn't take into any type of deflection the shaft may have at a higher rpm.

They have a kit to rebuilt the double cardon on my front drive shaft that I'll probably pull the trigger on once I get the front shaft off and see if the noise and vibes go away. Seems to be a good price and is all Spicer parts. If I go this route they also have the front Ujoint for a good price.
