If I remember correctly the 3C is garnet Red Metallic which is not a super rare color but actually very beautiful

But this is 5c and the only place I found mention was Collins Bros. which had one for sale with the 5c color red metallic.

 

Anyone know what the 02 code is?

5C = red metallic clearcoat, only available on the Spring Special packages in '85 (rare)

I still have the back seat. When I bought the Jeep it also had the passenger seat which I sold for $200. It was in excellent condition.

 

The decals are long gone. You can see where they were and the clearcoat is all disappearing.

 

Now I just need to find out what the 02 code is.

I just realized something. That website must be wrong. 1EE can’t be black high-back cloth, it would have to be black high-back vinyl with the orange-red piping since that is what the Spring Special came with. ???????

Jxxxxxx is the sales order
5x is paint code
02 is a factory code has no break out
1xx is the trim code

 

So at birth, this is supposedly what it looked like.

Apparently not, it was a code used by the factory. Earlier data plates it was called paint gun number.

 

The other spring special vin plates I can google all show 1EE for the interior. Comments about not finding an interior code for the short run of special seats for the promotional trim package.
