Hello everyone.

I've recently found myself in a situation where I may be buying another CRD. I had an '08 JGC CRD Overland (QDII) for a number of years and just sold it this past November (2019) with 384,000km on it.

An acquaitance asked if I still had my Jeep and if I would be interested in buying his as a parts vehicle. Long story short, it was his son's but has been sitting for about a year after throwing some codes - he decided not to bother trying to repair it. It's an '08 Laredo North Edition QTII (the Canadian version of the Rocky Mountain Edition). It only has 205,000km and the body is in excellent condition. I'm thinking of picking it up.

I went to see it and was able to get it to start and run. It has a few codes that I'm familiar with from my Jeep and am confident I can resolve. But there's one code I've never had and I'm having a hard time finding info on it.

It's the U0122 "Lost Communication with Vehicle Dynamics Control Module". Does anyone have any details on this?

Thanks.

For reference, the other codes are:
P0402 - EGR (will resolve with GDE tune)
P2015 - swirl valve (also GDE tune)
P0720 - output shaft speed sensor
P0299 - low boost, aka turbo actuator (local guy rebuilds these)
