There really any class action that happened? Not that i have heard. Rumor and innuendos it seems. especially since some were giving an extended warranty. It is not a safety issue. The person that said well might affect air bag. Bad news is air bag tend to hurt people all the time. They call that a secondary injury. broken arms, hands, face bones. many times those injuries are the only issue. But they tend to be the only injury as well. no matter how fast the vehicle was going. air bag deploys at 200mph and it is not a pillow.

I have a 2019 jeep cherokee overland and I have it finance,my dash is all messed yo I would like to join your class action suit
The OP hasn't been on the forum in nearly 2 years. Also, I've seen people talking about starting a class-action suit about this but I have never heard of one actually being done.

There's a link on how to fix it yourself 2 posts up from your reply if you want to give it a try.

Welcome aboard. :)

I have a 2018 Jeep grand cherokee overland with the 5.7 hemi. the dash looks like the mountains I climb. pulling up my air vents damaging the brackets that mount my air events down and the leather is causing more damage. And to every single individual that rides in or see's the dash. I tell them they all do it, including my 2012 jeep grand cherokee overland. It is an anescapable fact of the overland editions. And I want fixed.

Well, they do not all do it. The leather dash in my 2018 GC High Altitude with over 103,000 miles still looks as nice as it did when I bought it 6.5 years ago. I take precautions such as using a sunshade whenever it is going to be parked in direct sunlight on a warm day and I apply a leather conditioner to the dash every few months.

There's a DIY fix for this posted earlier in this thread if you want to give it a try.

My 2011 with 100,000 miles looked good. Most of them do in fact, but there are some not so much. I wiped mine down with a damp cloth a couple times a month and use a sun shade when not garaged for more than a few hours.

I have a twenty twenty one jeep grand cherokee, high altitude that I bought last june. It was kept in the garage, and when it wasn't in garage, it had a sun guard up. I have only put four thousand miles on the vehicle since I purchased it ( i had a surgery and was unable to drive 7 months) and the entire dash is peeling up and bubbling. I bought it from carmax in maddison, tennessee and they will not do anything, and neither will jeep. I should not have to pay for something that has been happening to other Jeep owners. I have driven nothing but jeep since 1991, but after this ordeal, I think i'm moving away from jeep. How do I get involved in this lawsuit?

Read near the end of the first message in this thread.

Also, that will get you nowhere. There are several DIY threads on how to fix it for very little cost if you're handy or know someone who is. Read message #17 in this thread for some ideas.

I have a 2014 dash issue also, not sure this is going anywhere, but we took our in I believe it was a recall but n less than a year it was doing the same thing. They told us we needed to live with it. seashell.sj88@gmail.com
You don't have to live with it but it could be an expensive repair if you let the dealer do it. There are a few replies in this thread that describe how to do a DIY repair for very cheap if you or someone you know is up to the task.
