Hello. I'm having trouble finding a radiator for my CJ7. I have the 4.2 258 i6 engine. The radiator part number is 433063. The only one I was able to find was at O'Reilly and when it arrived it was smashed, and they cannot locate another. I would prefer to put an OEM radiator in, but if not I'll settle for something else. I also bought an aluminum radiator that was really nice, but it wasn't recessed to put the radiator towards the front of the vehicle and I only had about a 1/4" of clearance between the fan and the radiator so i sent it back. I don't want to, but I may have to settle for an electric fan radiator and remove my existing fan. Please help me! Thanks in advance!

Ditto on a recore, it can be cheaper than a new radiator and better quality than an aluminium one and is guaranteed to fit. Aluminium is a pain to recore, often not possible.

If you do not have an original radiator (PO can swap almost anything into a Jeep) then you can find one at a Jeep breakers or hang out on Craiglist If you do not have a Heavy Duty radiator and shroud and coolant recovery bottle, Craiglist or ebay for original parts. You can adapt a shroud from another vehicle with basic measurements and coolant recovery bottles an hoses are 10 a penny at any parts place or junkyard.

The standard fan provides more flow than anything this side of a twin Contour fan setup. If it has a thermo clutch drive, you need to replace them every 10 years or 15 years as they lose transmisison power over time.

Do whatever your pocketbook permits.

This is as close to OEM as you can get in brass (that I could find)

Rock Auto might also have one.

I had to surrender my Radiator that had a lifetime warranty back to Advance Auto Parts

Since they no longer carried the one I showed you above, I was sorta at

their mercy for a replacement.

They went a little cheaper, I now have a 3 row aluminum radiator.

I was unable to do the choosing, even though, the Summit one was more like the one I bought in 2000.

NO FEAR! The lifetime warranty continues on with it, It's a 3 row also!

Here's part of that story.

I will confirm that the Summit Racing radiator is exactly like the OEM radiator as far as looks and mounting. It does have the automatic transmission fluid cooling tank which no one will ever notice. When I bought one it was about half the current price. I checked around and this was the least expensive one I found. The radiator shop couldn't/wouldn't recore the old one for what I paid for it.

Two selling points to consider is that the Summit has it in stock and it ships free. When I order from Summit and if they have it in their Atlanta warehouse, I get it the next day via UPS.
