Restoring my 77' 5 back to factory original stock, which means mounting the spare tire on the side.

The carrier is available through Crown, but what about the little rubber bumper/spacer that mounts on the fender?

Anyone know a source for this or have an old one willing to sell that is still somewhat plyable? Mine was rock-hard and unfortunately tossed some time ago.

See the picture of what i am looking for, this one on ebay for $50, well more than i can afford for a 40yr old piece of rubber.

Thank you for the tip, i'm always down for creative ideas for saving money! In this instance i would have trouble "shaping" the edge of the hockey puck to match the uneven front face of this bumper, being that i do not have an example to copy. I am doing a stock restoration so originality is almost as important as function.

Interesting story my jeep came with one of these, which being that at the time i had flares and Renegade wheels, which rendered my little "hockey puck" useless. Gave to a friend free for his restoration. Well times have changed, stock wheels and no flares, and kicking myself for not holding on to it....
