"Customer may report that the vehicle is hard to fill with fuel or that the fuel pump nozzle
shuts off repeatedly while trying to fill vehicle.

This customer complaint can occur due to a number of different causes. The fuel tank is
the least likely cause of this condition. The following Diagnostic procedure can be used to
diagnose the issues.

I don't get ANY from that at all. It diagnosis an early shut off making it hard to fill the tank. When gas comes gushing out, its really filling up too easy. Mine is doing it on a consistent basis now, so I can give the TSB a try, but I think it will be hard to convince a service writer at the dealership that the TSB listed is the problem.

Mine was doing the same as yours, and they replaced the tank, and so far its good. The part that says HARD TO FILL is your problem, splashing back is a hard to fill problem.

Wrong once again.I tried differrant stations, and after fuel tank replaced,no more problem.I talked to the Tech at the dealer about this, and they know its a problem.Im suprised you dont know this.
No not wrong, like I stated it happens to all makes and models, not just Chryslers and is actually very limited. What you find on the internet is over inflated as you don't here about the other 99% that never have a issue.I have access to all the TSB's,some are actually put out for independant shops to keep them from doing some jobs, like the flushing for Chryslers on some vehicles, that TSB is only for independant shops to keep them from using the wrong fluids.

I don't think I news to mention that personal attacks are not welcome here. let's keep it civil so others can enjoy the thread

Well, first hand knowledge is the best, so I will go armed with the TSB and see what I can get done. I'm guessing yours was still under warranty? Mine is only about 3k over 36K, so I'm not sure that's gonna help me either.

As for the other statement about it being the pump, I know it has nothing to do with that. Mine did not always do this, and I have always use the same pumps, and now it does it every time.

Sorry to seem doubtful, I just wanted to make sure I had my ducks in a row before I went to the dealer.

its definetly not the gas station problem. i frequent few gas stations in my area and they all worked just fine. few month ago the spitback started. first at random, but on different stations, then on a regular basis on ALL stations. when i mentioned that to the dealer, they exchanged all the hoses and a gas tank without even one word of saying its not their problem. this indicates that they are aware of the problem and exchange it under warranty right away. he service adviser had that face of immediate recognition when i said that.

well, the Jeep is at the dealer and they are replacing the tank. I never even had to mention the the TSB, I just told them the symptoms and ask if their was a chance it would be covered outside of the warranty. Short answer, they said yes.

Thanks for sharing your experience, I probably wouldn't have even tried if I hadn't known about someone else having a successful experience with a dealer.
