I recently purchased a Certified Pre-owned Overland with just over 40k miles on it. Already within 1 month of it, I am bringing it back because of a creaking noise over the drivers side front wheel.I have recorded the noise, played it for the Dealership GM and have already been on a test drive with a mechanic who heard the noises and verified it as well. I left the Jeep there for a couple of days (they needed to look at the brakes, rotors a clicking noise I was hearing coming from the dashboard-all are ok, or were ok until the other day when the noises came back). I read and seen posts and videos (You Tube) of people that have had the same thing happen to them only to be told by Jeep/Chrysler there is nothing they could do about it. I am asking for suggestions and help. I am hopeful this dealership will get it fixed. I have gotten 6-7 jeeps (leased) from them over the years, and am hopeful they can fix this. It is very saddening that when purchasing a Jeep used like this, that I understand there can be items needing replacement, but when you have it start like this it is not very good. All I am looking for is to have it fixed while it is still under warranty (3 months-3k) and I also purchased the extended warranty as well. I am not looking to be a problem to the Dealership, but sometimes the staff seems like they could care less, and just want to get to the next customer so they can do the ticket and try to up sell them to items and services they may not need. Any suggestions?
