anyone got any tips or suggestion. im thinking about buying a cold air in take. is this the best way to go? what is the best system to buy? what are some other ways to help the performance of my little 4.0

header, tb spacer, i heard you can put early 90's mustang 5.0 injectors i think in and thats supposed to do something, but im not too sure

WJ's already really fast ..all that low end torque surprised the hell out of me when I did my first WOT from a red light .. I mean for what it weighs, and what it is, you couldn't ask for more ...

but look into a nice full exhaust, cold air intake, etc.

throttle body spacers are a waste of money.

You cant do a whole lot to see a huge increase besides stroking it or putting on a supercharger. A free flowing exhaust/intake set up will help alot though.

Open up the exhaust first. Then if you want buy a CAI (not worth the money IMHO.) The throttle body can stand to be opened up quite a bit as it tapers down from the top to the bottom. I did this and was quite surprised at how much it helped. A full tune up always helps, and you can adjust the TV cable for firmer, later shifts.
