Took the YJ out for the first time this weekend and man does it wheel hop. Flexes pretty well which makes me think that the springs are too soft. 92 SOA on Waggy front springs front and rear and Dana 44 from the Waggy with anti wrap device on the rear. Any input would be appreciated greatly. Thought about putting a main leaf out of Yj pack in too stiffen them up. Thanks.

what sort of anti-wrap setup do you have? those springs are really soft but with adequate anti-wrapping barrrage you shouldn't have wheel hop THAT bad...

Wife just got new cammera and do not have a clue how to use it and with all the buttons probably don't want to. So I will describe it. Don't have a anti-wrap bar but have 1 1/2" sq tube welded to the top of the spring plates and connected to the front frame mount for the spring with large adjustable eye bolts. Keep pinion from rolling up very well and does not kill flex at all.

Kind of like control arms in the rear? both sides? I think you should figure that camera out and post some pics.. or let the wife do it for ya :)

Is it hopping in the front or rear? What tires are you using and what PSI? Even with an extra main and a traction bar you will still have some slight hop. You need to accept this and learn when to let off the gas.

When i was reading up on traction bars there was alot of talk about anti-squat. It goes alot deaper than what i remember or understand but i think one affects the other. Basically the traction bar stops axle wrap but depending on either the design, length, angles or a combination of all the above then (not sure how to word this) but anti squat can become a problem causing wheel hop. Search anti squat especially on pirate and im sure you will find something about that.
