I own a 2004 jeep wrangler, the other day I decided that I would change the fuel filter, so I crawled up underneath my jeep and looked up underneath and I swear I cannot find no fuel filter. After doing little asking around I have been told that the guys at chrysler did not put a inline fuel filter on the tj jeeps. What the hell guys wouldn't this cause trouble on down the road. I've never heard of a vehicle NOT having an inline fuel filter on it. What was their reason for not putting a filter on the tj jeeps? And would it cause a problem if one where to put an inline filter on their jeep? I would really like someone who knows something about this topic to help me on this one, im curious why tj's have no filter. I do know that there is a sock filter on the fuel pump inside of the gas tank, is that enough? Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks Guys.
