I've got a 2015 Compass Latitude and see that this forum is for this section combines the Patriot and the Compass in one area. Can someone explain to me what MK means, I see it a lot here, Is it something to specific to a Compass or a Patriot? or both? If so just trying to learn as this is my first Jeep.

MK is the platform designation. Same frame/body pan and drivetrain is used for both the compass and patriot during those years.
