Under Dash Clicking when Door Is Opened

Open any door in the Jeep before starting it, and randomly a loud clicking comes from somewhere under the center part of the dash. Lasts for about 5 seconds then goes away.

Any ideas what this is and parts to fix?

2011 JK Sahara. I don't have any aftermarket starters or alarms. I'll try the Heater suggestion and see what happens.

mine has always done it too. so complicated that they have do a dance just if a door or the rear gate is opened. I would say its more of open and closing sound of the heater box.

move your heater control from hot to cold (ignition ON engine OFF). Do you hear the same clicking? If so, your actuator for the blend door may have a broken tooth.
