I'd like some input on this too

 

What's up gents... I too am wanting the NX Trek. All I can say is I've seen the Rampage in person and it doesn't look good at all. I wish I would've taken a pic of it so that you could have seen how bad it looks in person. I would highly recommend not considering the Rampage top

 

Took a pic of it. The straps are on the outside I did not like it at all.

 

I've looked everywhere and finally decided to go with the twill. The consensus seems to be that the twill is a lot quieter and has an overall better look to it as well as being longer lasting. For the extra $300, I'd rather not have to replace it sooner. I'm ordering tomorrow and will update once I get it on. Hope this awesome weather holds out!

I guess I'm more concerned with the differences between the Bestop Trektop NX in Black Diamond VS. Twill.... I haven't seen the Rampage until now, and I'm not impressed...

 

I just put mine on yesterday. Instructions are horrible but there are a few vids on YouTube that will help. I rode with the bikini top for a but on the highway. It started flapping around 60mph. Other than that, I think I will love it.

 

I just installed the Supertop NX in twill. I can tell you the material is very, very nice. It's the only soft top I ever had so I can't compare it to the regular fabric. BUT...a friend of mine has the regular one and now she wants the twill after playing touchy-feely with mine.

 

to keep the trektop from flapping use the hooks that go into the speaker rack and run a bungee to the back of the top. been doing that for a while with no damage to the top. I opened the end of the bungee up a little where I hook into the flap
