TJ coils on XJ?

Just wondering if TJ front coil springs can be used as XJ front coil springs?

yes i have seen it done. I think they are a softer spring rate so you lose an inch of lift. so if they lift a wrangler 5.5in you get 4.5 inches of lift on a cherokee. I think people like them because of the flex. There is a red cherokee on the web called cajun cherokee that is running tjs with 35in tires and a bunch of other stuff too. i dont know where i saw it though.

yea I too ave heard from several places that stock XJ coils can be used to lift a TJ about an inch, so I would assume that stock TJ will loweran XJ an inch, lifted springs would do just the same.

i have a tj 6" lift and it came out to about 5.5" total up front
