My infinity gold speakers on the right side are not working. It is the passenger rear door and the dash speaker. Should i replace them or what should i do. Something else i noticed was when i faded the rear to the left it was loud then when i faded it to the right, the left door speaker was still making music when everything should have been going to the right.

I don't think it ever goes 100% to any given speaker, so if it was play very softly, I wouldn't concern myself with it. It's uncommon for a speaker to fail into silence, but you can check them. Take the dash panel off and swap the the tweeters to see if the passenger tweeter works on the driver's side. I would say more likely what happened is the speakers blew and the previous owner disconnected them to get rid of the crackling but didn't replace them, or there is another break in the signal line somewhere.

Well the previous owner was the local Girl Scouts organization, and they were the original owner, so I highly doubt they disconnected anything.

The dash speakers are bad so im gonna need to replace them, tomorrow im gonna do the same with the rear door speakers. Test the working one on the non working one and see if its the speakers or the wiring.

I just replaced the dash tweeters in my 01 today...I went through the hassle of splicing, but later found out that jgcparts sells the 2.5" with the harness already on it. Might be worth the time to go that route if you aren't after a certain brand. Good luck!

Well I kind of want to upgrade but its hard to find ones that will fit.
Infinty reference 3032cf, not That hard.
Sounds Way better than factory speaker, which you can replace every second week,,,

Any decent mid-range driver from a reputable brand will be an upgrade over stock, but you're only going to be getting low and mid bass to the door speakers with the factory amp. In fact, I personally wouldn't even bother upgrading the speakers with the factory amp. If you're not happy with the (fully functional) stock system, you aren't going to be any happier after upgrading the speakers, leaving the Infinity amp in the loop.
