Really really stuck pinion yoke

Get the puller on and tightened up where it has a decent amount of pulling force before I think something is going to break.

Heat up the pinion yoke as best as possible to try to get it to expand in any way

Hit the pinion ears with an 4lb blacksmith hammer on both sides alternating.
I would hit the end of the puller. This is how to pull tapered 44 and AMC 20 axle hubs.
I would pull the axles and carrier (to keep from damaging the pinion on the ring gear), put the cover back on (to keep the pinion from flying out) and, if there is enough room, loosely reinstall the yoke nut to keep the puller assembly from flying across the room (or hit yourself in the face). Run the puller down as hard as you can and strike the end of the puller with a sledge.
Hard.
