NV3550 input shaft retainer RTV - which one?

I had a broken input shaft retainer, 03 Rubi TJ, and did a clutch job while I was there. I am reinstalling the new input shaft retainer, part 28 in this diagram tonight

https://www.quadratec.com/jeep-replacement-parts/jeep-transmissions/nv3550.php

and wondering what RTV to use? I have a tube of Permatex MotoSeal Number 1 grey, what did you guys use, and would the Permatex grey be OK for this application? It's rated for 177 Deg C continuous. I don't want to use it and have to tear it all down again with an oil leak.

I am also installing a new front drive main gear drive seal, number 1 in the above link, but I don't have the tool to install it pictured in the NV3550 rebuild notes, can I just use a tube the same size and tap it into the retainer?

Appreciate any feedback. :tea:

Cheers!

When the FSM says:

"Mopar Silicone Sealer" they mean the air cure hi temp...

You can substitute Permatex Ultra Black.

"Mopar Gasket Maker" they mean the Anaerobic Gasket Maker (absence of air cure).

You can substitute LocTite 518 or Permatex 51813:
