Hey all, wanted to condense some information since I had to scavenge around for some of it. If you can change your oil you can change these fluids, very easy to do. Longest part is using the cheap $8 auto parts store pump to slowly return fluid into the diff.

For the 195mm differential, drain and fill plug are 8mm hex. Pretty easy and straight forward from there, a little liquid wrench and things went easy. If it's your first time, always remember to remove fill plug first to ensure you'll be able to fill your soon to be empty diff! I purchased Redline 75w-85 since it was around $18/Qt shipped and met the Mopar specs. You'll need 3 Qts if doing the front and rear. I believe the spec is 1.2 Qt in the front and 1.4 Qt in the rear but I just pump until it starts to dribble out. Torque Spec for drain and fill plugs in the front and rear is 26 ft lbs according to WK2Jeeps.com
For the rear 225mm differential the drain and fill are 14mm hex! I used some slightly unconventional methods to remove the drain plug as clearence is odd with the exhaust there. May need to clean out the inside of the plugs in order to fit the 14mm but it is definitely the right size.
For the MP3023 Transfer case another 8mm hex drain and fill plug. Fill is hidden just about the Tag. This calls for 1.9 Qts but I think mine took just a hair over 2. I'd have an extra quart handy just for that last oz or so. I used Castrol Transmax ATF 4 as its supposed to meet the Spec of the Mopar ATF 4. Torque spec for drain and fill is 15-25 ft lbs according to WK2Jeeps.com
I found a few things I thought were interesting. The diff housing and cover are stamped "Made in Germany" so I searched "Mercedes 225mm differential fluid change" and that's how I came across the fill/drain plug size. Can anyone confirm if these diffs are used in the WK and in Mercedes vehicles? What other drivetrain components are crossed between the two?
Anyways, a few pics for reference.
