Does anyone know when Midnight Sky will be available to order? Thanks.

I was told by someone higher up at Stellantis about a month or so ago that it was scheduled to start production 4/25, but I don't know if it has or not at this point. It was a supply chain issue so like everything else you never know.

Thanks for that info. I hope it’s available on ‘23s, as I was unable to order a ‘22 Summit 3-row last month because ordering for those was closed. My dealer’s regional rep told him ordering should open back up this month for ‘23s, but we’ll see.

My ‘22 Wrangler ordered in November still hasn’t entered production, so I’m not betting on anything Jeep at this point.

Any word on any changes for '23 models?

Is Midnight Sky now orderable?

When did they say to expect your order to arrive at the dealer?

Also: what did you order? WL 2 row or 3 row? I called my dealer and they haven't heard anything yet, but are looking into it.

They said no changes for 23. My current lease is up in September and they expect to have it before then. Ordered a 3-row.

Do you have a copy of your POC? I just checked with two dealers who said 2023 order banks are not open, but should be open next month.

I did not order one yet, he was going to check into availability to order my build. He ordered the 2023’s for dealer stock.
Was replying to Matt_H who indicated he placed an order yesterday. Wanted to see what he ordered as maybe it is model-specific currently.

Yes. I have a POC. Limited L. Tow group, bench, Lux tech group II, panoramic sunroof, 20”wheels.

I wonder if Summits just aren't able to be ordered at this time then.

FYI - don't know the details, but the 10.1 Uconnect screen was an option before, and for 23 it is standard (at least in the limited). Was checking my POC and asked the dealer about it.
That's similar to my '22 Wrangler Sahara Altitude order, the 8.4" nav became standard vs optional on the '21s.
Do you happen to know if the High Altitude/Black appearance pkg is available? The only things we aren't ordering on the Summit is the passenger side screen and the Advanced Pro Tech IV group, everything else seems to be standard.

So ordering is open for '23?? NO Hurricane engine? Bummer!!

I've seen 2 dealers that say ordering is open, and two dealers that say ordering is not open. The dealer with whom my '22 Wrangler is ordered sent me an order print out yesterday for the 2023 GC but it has no pricing. Both dealers with whom I've communicated say pricing is not available. I'm hesitant to place an order without a definite price, especially with the dealer who requires a non-refundable deposit.

Both have said Midnight Sky is not available to order, unfortunately.

I would never buy from that dealer. Mine told me pricing isn’t available yet but I would have to put down a $200 refundable deposit. Even if price goes up you are buying a 2023 vs 2022. Depreciation alone would be significant for a one year older vehicle even though they’d be delivered in the same calandra year.

The positive is the dealer has a very good reputation, and is a sponsoring dealer on another forum. They're offering 4% below invoice. The crutch is they are 10 hours away from me, so I have to determine if the 3% difference between them & my current dealer is worth the drive. I'm still waiting for my '22 Wrangler to be delivered (was finally built yesterday) so I don't want to tell my current dealer I'm looking elsewhere for the '23 GC order and have them not honor the price on the Wrangler (no deposit was given).

Re: the model year difference, there really is almost zero depreciation on new vehicles right now. We're getting nearly what we paid for our '20 GC on trade-in, & it has 40k miles. I recently sold my '16 JKU with 61k miles for just a few thousand less than I paid for it 6 years ago.
