I'm actually doing this right now. I just went to autozone and bought a couple of the little packs of stuff they have by the register. Not sure about anti seize.
When I was a mechanic at a jeep dealership some of the guys used anti seize. I was told by my teacher at the automotive school I went to to use this green stuff. Its made by permatex and its for lubricating slide pins. I use it all the time for slide pins and when doing a brake job I put it on the faces of the caliper pistons. Its good stuff. its 19 bucks a bottle but it works great. Never had a complaint of noisy brakes after doing a brake job.
A question about greasing the pins: Can I just remove one pin at a time and leave everything else connected while I grease it, or do I have to remove the calliper first?
Yes, the silverish looking brake caliper grease is what you want. Do NOT use regular grease as it will deteriorate due to heat and gum up, leaving your brakes working worse than before. Use brake caliper grease specifically.
