Hi,

I'm new to the forum and I was trying to find out how to DM @JeepCares

I was on their profile and I do not see how to do it. Perhaps because I am new, I do not have that option. I was hoping to contact them about an issue with have with our 2018 Grand Cherokee. We ended up with the Darth Vader noise a few years back, which we didn't know what it was at time. A while later, the AC went out once and then started working again and then the fmaily was driving to AZ in the summer and it went out compeltly, with a 4 and 1 year old in the back seat. After getting the car home we took it to the dealer and they said it needed to be recharged so they did it. Now it's doing it again. This does not seem right for a 6 year old car. I figure what ever the dealer did was just a band aid and we'll be stuck paying a ton of money to get this fixed. The car barely has 25K miles on it which makes it even more depressing.

Thanks
Steven

I think the standard of care for suspected low fill or a leak is to recharge, add a die, and wait. If it is a leak, it should become obvious with the die. Dunno why that was not explained clearly to you, they usually ask you to return for a recheck in a bout 6 months..

When you shine a UV/Black light on the AC components (in the shade/dark), the leak may become obvious. Then repair the leak. If a dealer doesn't want to contact Jeep Customer service directly for you and you want the repair covered by warranty, you may have to contact them yourself. They are the same staff regardless of how you make contact.

The number varries from 10 to 25 and post padding violates forum rules. Its one staff regardless how you reach customer service.

+1 - The folks behind the JeepDoesntCare acct are the same people answering the phones and emails, and all they are going to do is tell you to schedule a service appt with your local stealership.
