Is this rear diff cover dana 44a or dana 44 ?
It seems to attract a magnet. I am just trying to figure which gasket to get to fit.
edit: ok, I am going to assume it is a 44, and not a 44a.

If it’s on a ZJ it’s a 44a unless it’s been swapped and modified but you’d be able to tell.
The housing is aluminum the diff cover is steel.

Get the Lubelocker. You won't be disappointed.

The very first Lubelocker I bought about 15 years ago is still in use and doesn't leak a drop. It's been installed on four different D30 axle housings.
