Does anyone know the time it takes by the book to replace the 5.7 hemi engine in a 2012 WK2?
Was about the same for the WJ too, 20+ hours for a long block engine swap. Not sure about the WK2 but on a WK with a 4.7L it was 3 full days. One day to pull the engine and the parts going on the replacement long block and 2 days to assemble, reinstall, refill, etc. So basically 30 hours for 2 backyard mechanics.
So 21.5 to 23 hours sounds really close.
Yeah. A well cared for 5.7L Hemi with average mileage should not need replacement in 6 years. Would like to know what the issue is with this engine.Man, this is a scary thread title.
