I was on a tight budget and i need light covers to make my lightbar legal. so i decided to make my own! got an old pair of jeans and started cuttin!

- started by cuttin a circle about 1"-2" bigger than the light itself.
- cut a strip about 4"-5" wide and about 2ft long.
- sewed a flap over for a draw string on the strip.
- sewed the strip around the circle.
- cut a circle of foam board that fit the cover for added protection and support.
- died them black and painted the stars with a stencil.

Only thing I can think of to improve this would be to but a large knot in one end (so the string can't pull through), with a large loop in it so you can tie it shut with the other end of your string, and never have to worry about loosing anything.

If cops have nothing better to do than pull u over for no covers on those lights then they aren't doing their job IMO. They could look for ppl actually doing something harmful.
I know right, but. I drive past cops with my 5000k 100watt lights on all the time and they dont do jack but i get atleast 3 people a night that flash their brights at me ha

Testify in court...ive gotten charges dropped cause supposivly suring around on gravel at the end of a paved road is illegal and trust passing and "atving" on property without concent when all i did was turn down the wrong road and pulled a simple U turn on the gravel, cops i tell you, they got nothing better to do besides pick on teenagers by me
