Hello!

New to the forum!

Looking at picking this up today and other than the owners word,I can't find anything that show this is an LJ. Vin comes back as a Sport. It look like a longer wheel base but I just don't know. What do yall think?

The one I'm looking at (in the picture I posted) clearly has more space between the door. It's just puzzling to me that none of the vin numbers indicate anything except a Sport. I appreciate the picture and reply.

Looks built, wonder if someone lengthened it?

Did the current owner build it?

I'd look closely at the metal panels from the door back. Frame as well

Researching further, is this by chance an '04?

Reading up, it seems some of the 04s did not have the '9' in 7th position.

Thinking is that since it was the first year, they didn't all get a separate designation...

thanks learned something new
I have been told all 2004 LJ were automatic and I know all 2004 have the 3 connector JTEC+ PCM unlike 05-06 with 4 connector NGC PCM (although 4th connector not populated with manual transmission)

here is page from 2004 FSM

I can confirm this. My 04 is a 9 digit.

Also correct that all 04s were auto and no rubicons.
