Headlight bulb, will Jiffy Lube do this?

Dealing again with a headlight bulb needing replacement, on the passenger side of 2021 Grand Cherokee. Remembering what a pain this has been every time I've had to deal with it in the past... I do see that Jiffy Lube advertises that they change headlight bulbs. Is that going to include this one, or are there certain ones they won't work on because they're too difficult?

Jiffy Lube will do it, but they will charge you an inflated blub price AND labor. Your local parts hut, most any parts hut (O'Reilly's, AutoZone, Advanced Auto, etc.) will have a better price on the bulb, and install it for FREE....

If it is HID there is a LOT more involved than removing an access panel and twisting the bulb
Yeah.... I probably spoke to soon.... Headlights are not what they once were....

I recently had the passenger side headlight go out on my 2020 wk2. After struggling with all of the videos, tips and tricks I finally got it done. I want to pass along a trick that worked for me but might not work for everyone. I leaned over the grill and passed my hand between the radiator and overflow bottle. I'm 6'1 with fairly long arms so this put my hand right on the bulb in a natural position to replace it. I spent half the time on the passenger side than on the driver once I figured this out. Hope this helps others when their time comes.

:ROFLMAO::LOL: My last auto shop teacher circa 1989, was 100% missing his pinky lol. He would never tell the true tale, claiming he lost it wrestling a Sasquatch. But he was also the wood and metal shop teacher, so my money was always on a foolish mistake in 1 of the 3 shops....

Just a pinky finger, he was lucky!

I ran into a S'quatch once, tried to get a selfie with him--you know, like those people with bison in Yellowstone. Anyway, he let out a roar, and I took off like a shot--crashing into trees and snagged by thorn bushes--yet he just kept gaining. Welp, once he caught me, he chucked me all over that hilltop, smacked me around some, and ripped up my clothes. Just as I thought he was gonna kill me, he slammed me down face first over a log. And brother, let me tell ya--if you think their feet are big...

Anyway, no more S'quatch hunting for me. I'm sticking to selfies with bison nods

Found an easy way of changing the low beam bulb on a 2018 WK2 Laredo E. Unbolt the anti-freeze overflow and move it out of your way to the right. Loosen the clips holding the ECM. Lift it up and move it to the right out of your way. Loosen the clips holding the fuse box. Lift it up and move it back out of your way. Take a 3/4" sch 40 slip fit coupling and cut out a notch it to fit over the 90 degree electrical connector of the new bulb. Cement on a 2" piece of 3/4" sch 40 pipe in the opposite end of the coupling for a handle. Turn old bulb a third of a turn counter clockwise to loosen it using the tool. Change out the old bulb. Turn new bulb a third of a turn to tighten it using the tool then put everything back in its place. Jeep dealership took two and a half hours to change out my low beam bulb the first time it burnt out. Took me 15 minutes to change out the bulb the second time around.

I think this tip, or something similar, is posted in one of those bulb changing threads.

HIDs slowly loose intensity over time.Worn bulbs are always dimmer than new ones.

Here are before and after pics of when I recently replaced first just the broken driver side HID bulb and left the 6 year old passenger side HID bulb alone. Several days later I replaced that one to match the brightness of the other new bulb. Factory original OSRAM HID bulbs off Amazon, $54 each.

The driver side took around 3-4 hours, the passenger side took around 30 minutes.
