Hi folks,

I'm new to the forum even though I've owned a wrangler for a few years and just recently leased a '14 GC Limited for my wife.

We've had our new GC for a couple weeks now and the park assist guide lines in the reverse camera had been showing just fine until yesterday. The reverse camera works fine, but the lines no longer display.

I went into the uconnect settings and made sure that the "display guide lines" option is checked. Still no luck.

Did I mistakenly press something on the wheel or on the center cluster to turn this off? Any ideas on how to turn them back on?

Not sure how they got turned off, but make sure the engine is running when you check settings.

I wonder if I should somehow reset to default settings.

Check to see if you have the latest Uconnect software version. Lots of info about that on the forum.

I have a 2014 JGC Limited (month old) that has the same issue with Guide Lines intermittently working. In the first two weeks it failed to work on a 50/50 ratio. I updated the UConnect software and also had the 1000Km service where the Jeep service centre also upgraded software. When I collected the car, the very next day the Guidelines failed again, I photographed the screen and SMS'd to Jeep service centre as evidence. I left the car with the service centre for a full week and they stse they could not replicate the fault!
I will collect the car in a few days when I return home for business trip and expect I will have the same fault occur!

So my blog here is not helpful for you it is just for your information and if the fault persists I will let you know if Jeep in Australia fix it and how. Can you also post if you manage to get a fix from your Jeep service centre?
