I am pulling off my seat covers because they are fading and look like crap. I am having trouble getting my front headrests back off. I didnt think there was much of a trick other than squeezing in at the base and pulling. Am I missing something?

We found it. There is a button on one side that sticks out, but also a recessed on on the other. So you gotta squeeze the right and the left ones at the same time. Then use your third hand to simply pull the head rest off... :)

Its a dance - (and virtually the same on all bucket seats) from back of seat use right hand to press the exposed button and left hand under head rest to bring that post above that detent and hold it there - then use right hand to hit the release oin the opposite post (on some seats its a pinhole and you have to use a small allen wrench or something - on the JK its the recessed button, a small screwdriver works well) - the load from left hand under it pops it right on out...
