$80 for a kludge to disable it or $100 for a set of new sensors so it works 🤷‍♂️
or there are also programmers that will adjust the pressure thresholds or disable it (diagfca, jscan, etc.) $50+

That’s the one I’m trying to figure out how to turn off
I got the 2 OBD 2 things off Amazon, Went to JScan and bought the first 2 on their list. I could not get them to pair on my iPhone. I tried my 2008 Jeep and a 2012 Ram. nothing would connect. so I gave up

For the seatbelt chime I’m pretty sure you just turn the ignition key to ON (don’t start the engine) and then insert and remove your seatbelt 10 times. Turn the key off then start the vehicle and test.

it’s been years since I did mine, but this is what I remember.

Thanks I’ll try that. I don’t mind the light on but the constant chime is Annoying.

I am pretty sure JScan will allow you to disable it or...just use JScan to change the tire pressure warning limit like I did.
You can disable it using Jscan under ‘adaptation’, ‘tpms-settings’, ‘tpms basic on/off’, target value should be ‘deactivated’. To have it active again you will change target value back to active. Cheers.

Yeah...I thought it was in there somewhere. I just used it to change the values for mine.

Which one did you buy? I have one paired to my iPhone. It is the Vgate iCar Pro Bluetooth 4.0
Typically works flawlessly.

I'm not sure it works with iphone, double check with jscan, send them a message.

So my iPhone is somehow different? I took it out of the case... looks like a regular iPhone.
what I'm saying is I don't think jscan works on iphones, send them a message, they respond pretty quick.

Cheers

Close. I found that old thread and its various edits and compiled the following:

To remove seatbelt chime...
1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position, and fasten the drivers seatbelt.
2. Start engine, and wait for Seat Belt warning light to turn OFF.
3. Within 60 seconds of starting engine, unbuckle and then re-buckle driver's seat belt at least 3 times, ending with belt buckled.
4. Turn the ignition switch back to the ACC position, turning off the engine. A single chime will sound to signify that your life is in your own hands.
