Any experience with AP Exhaust Mufflers or Walker Mufflers? Looking for OEM sound.

Sooner or later I am going to have to replace the stock muffler. I can't justify paying for an OEM one so I am looking for an OEM-like replacement that sounds the same. Basically, quiet with absolutely no droning at any speed. For 11-years, I had an aggressive exhaust sound on my XJ that I recently sold:

If you guys see any company using my video for advertising purposes, please let me know. Thank you!

Now for my TJ, I want quiet. Walker offers their "Quiet-Flow" Series for $75, while AP Exhaust offers only one at $55. Both significantly cheaper than OEM.

Any of you guys have any experience with Walker or AP Exhaust OR maybe a different brand that offers the quietness of the stock muffler?

Thank you in advance!

This might not help much, but I just put a walker on my sons Grand Cherokee with the 4.7.

Very slight increase in sound, but is does sound very good. Looks like a quality, inexpensive alternate to a stock muffler. Only been on a couple months, so no idea how long it will last.

Hmmm you wouldn't happen to know which Walker muffler you put on your son's Jeep, would you? They make a Walker Quiet-Flow and a Walker SoundFX...

I replaced mine with a Jones turbo (jones is made by walker) ever so slightly deeper tone than stock and did not notice any increase in sound. And it was less than $30. Not stainless but was galvanized.
Jones, Thrush, Walker and Dynonax are all made by the same company. Who would of thought...

I replaced the stock muffler 3 years ago with a cheap universal muffler that had a lifetime warranty. I hardly heard the OEM, the aftermarket one has a "free-flow" kind of sound. After 3 years now the aftermarket got louder so they replaced it for free under warranty. Still not as quiet as stock.

It would be nice if something like the Walker was actually as quiet as stock for less then $100.
