Thinking about pulling out the A/C system since it needs some work. I've found all kinds of conflicting info when searching the forum. Is there a compressor delete bracket or does everyone just use a shorter belt? If so what size belt? My 4.2 uses a serpentine belt. I know some people just leave the compressor but I sure would like that easier access to the #1 plug. Anyone got any part #'s or sizes or any input?

Does oriellys or autozone show an option for no ac? Ask him to see the diagram so you can see if there is a pulley or not? I have my ac stuff still because I want to fix mine ( once I find an evaporator )

Dayco 5060755 is suppose to work bypassing the AC pulley or AC delete pulley. I am still running my compressor but plan to do this when it's bearing go out. Let my know if it works.

i found a picture of all the different belt routings, i will try and load it once i get off work

I picked up an alt from a part out with the bracket for $20. Got the proper bracket for the delete and a spare alt. CL is your friend
